In September, the Hedera community faced a harsh reality. A rug pull shook our ecosystem to its core, shattering trust and leaving many of us disillusioned. Having been an active and well-known member of this space for years, I couldn’t just stand by and watch. I knew we deserved better. I knew I could build better.
That was the turning point. I decided to launch a project founded on transparency and genuine commitment. The name came naturally: a play on words combining the technology we love with a resilient little creature. From “Hedgehog” came HashHogs.
But building trust takes time. It took four months of relentless work, countless discarded designs, and late nights at the PC to perfect the vision. Finally, on January 24, 2026, the HashHogs saw the light of day.
The mint was a resounding success, but what matters most is the support I’ve received. The community stood by me from day one. For that trust, and for every single holder, I am eternally grateful. This is just the beginning.
